Holiday Makeup Day 15: Our Cheeks Are Nice And Rosey, And Comfty Cozy Are We. .

We took Corbin to see Christmas lights in Brystol last night and didn't get back until 3am. . Ha ha Or else I would have posted this blog then. This look isn't an eye look, rather than a face look. I went out on a limb and used a bright berry blush. Very holiday-ish.

The flash REALLY washes it out. . Oh well. Ha ha.

Holiday Makeup Day 13: Christmas Morning

Okay, Okay so I cheated. . . This really isn't a makeup look. Today was my only day off this week, I wanted to spend all day playing and cuddling Corbin. Makeup was the last thing on my mind. So right before I got in the shower tonight I was like. . DANG IT! I forgot to do something for my blog. . . Then I had a bright idea! I'll do a Christmas Morning inspired look. No one (at least that I know) wakes up on Christmas morning with a face full of makeup. . Thus, this look was born (Warning, you are about to see yours truly nude in the face. That's right, NO makeup. .)

And because I didn't do an actual makeup look, I thought I would show you guys how I curl my hair before bed sometimes when I want super curls the next day. Enjoy <3

Holiday Makeup Day 9: Oh, Christmas Tree.

I'm typing this blog as a very, very sleepy mama right now. I had a very long day at work and all I want to do is snuggle up to Corbin with a mug of hot chocolate (extra marshmallows) and watch friends. Here's todays look, a very neutral eye when some smokey greens. I'll have to say, one of my favorite looks I've done so far. The pictures were taken just a few minutes ago, at the very end of the day. . So this is my makeup after a lot of wear and tear. Ha ha ha. Enjoy :)

Holiday Makeup Day 8: Under The Mistletoe

I love doing a simple winged liner with a pop color on my lower lash line. It's something I find myself doing quite often especially when I don't feel like doing much that day with my makeup. I actually wore the eye makeup to work today, and when I got home I added the red lip. I played with some highlighting and shadowing tricks to make my lips look bigger than they actually are. I have really tiny lips. Ha ha. Nothing says "Meet me under the mistletoe" like a full,pouty lip. Right?

Can I just say this is probably one of my new favorite Christmas songs?! I'm definitely a Belieber.

Holiday Makeup Day 7: Tacky Christmas Sweater Party.

I stayed at home, all day with a poor little baby that has a cold and/or is teething. We stayed in our jammies, played with our toys and watched our favorite cartoons and movies. So, I decided to do a look I would NEVER wear out in public. I wanted to play around with color and lashes. And the outcome was this look. I wore it only long enough to take a few photos then off it went. Oh, and a small disclaimer, in some of the photos you will see it looks like I have a black smudge/blob/shadow in the middle of my lid. This is not me sucking at makeup, this is my camera misusing the auto red-eye correct feature. It took my red eyeshadow as a product of the flash turning my iris red. . . Yeah not so much. Thanks camera. Okay, heres the look. And bare with me, its the first time I've attempted something this dramatic :)

I don't know why my right lash doesn't look like its applied properly. I think it was because the white lash glue hadn't dried yet.

The flash sort of washes out the red and makes it look pink :/

You can see the black "smudge" on my left eye in this picture. I promise, thats just my dumb camera. Haha

Holiday Makeup Day 6: Hot Cocoa Kiss.

Today was (for the most part) a very lazy day. I had a call-in at work from 12-5, but they didn't need me to come in at the time. So, my initial plan was cuddle and play all day in my jammies with Corbin. Then my mom called and told me a package I'd been waiting very anxiously on was delivered to her work today so I decided I would go pick it up. So, I threw together a very quick makeup look. Brown winged eye-liner and a brown lip. Pictures kind of make the brown look red. But it's definitely brown. Ha ha. While I was at mom's work, my manager called and asked me to come in. This was around 4:30 and I had to stay until 11. I've been working like a maniac lately, and needless to say I'm pretty excited about payday :) But here is the makeup look, I had absolutely NO foundation, concealer or bronzer/blush on. So please excuse that <3

I have very pigmented lips so the brown lipstick has a red/pinky undertone.

I was chewing gum and Corbin liked how it smelt, so he leaned in for a kiss and got lipstick all over his face. Ha ha.

Holiday Makeup Day 5: Winter Wonderland.

Ok, so I was on my way to work this afternoon and I was sort of in a hurry. I'm just curious, but when you guys are in a hurry does it seem like everyone in the world decided to take the same route you're taking, and take it 15 miles under the speed limit at that. But not just that, every traffic light catches you as well. Drives me crazy. And I swear, it happens EVERY time I'm in a hurry to get somewhere. But when I'm not in a hurry. . That's a different story, no traffic at all and the traffic lights are always green. . Maybe this is Mother Nature's way of telling me I need to get it together and leave my house sooner. . Lord knows I'm late to almost everything. . Anyway, here is today's makeup. After I finished I realized its similar to my "Silver Bells" look, but that one was silver and black, this one is white and blue. It kind of puts me in mind of a snow storm or freezing weather or something. I don't know ha ha, but enjoy :)

Holiday Makeup Day 1: Blooming Poinsettias

Todays December 3rd. I've challenged myself to do a different Holiday inspired look every day until Christmas. That's 22 different looks. And I'm going to share every single one of them with you guys. So sit back, and enjoy the make up :)

Just bought this today! Pretty excited to try it out, if any of you use it let me know how you like it. I've heard so many good things about it! Voluminous Million Lashes mascara in black.

You already know I had to pick these up at CVS.

Trying out the Revlon lip butters. Left to right: Creamsicle, Creme Brule, Cupcake, Fig Jam, and Red Velvet. They have awesome color pay off and I love pretty much everything buttttt, they have no smell or taste. I figured with such awesome names they'd at least smell amazing.

. . . Annnnd I'm Annoyed!

A pet peeve is defined as a particular and often continual annoyance. As human beings, it's only natural to have 2 or 3,600 pet peeves. I have a ridiculous amount of them, some are pretty interesting, so I thought I'd share a few. :)


1.  When people smack their mouth while eating.
2. When I say something and it comes out really southern and someone repeats it back to me like they've never heard a southern accent before. I was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. I'm bound to have a little southern twang slip out, I get it. You don't have to repeat it back to me.
3. When people talk with their mouths full of food.
4. When people drive ignorantly.
5. Blogs that lack structure and consistency.
6. Blogs that have 700 pictures that have nothing to do with the topic of the blog.
7. When I'm following someone in the car and we're going to the same destination but they call me a thousand times and/or when I'm riding with someone and we're following another person but the person I'm riding with stays on the phone with who we're following the whole car ride.
8. Misusage/Misspelling of their/they're/there your/you're too/to/two.
9. #hash tags. Just sayin'.
10. Improper use of comas and periods.
11. When people call my son a she.
12. When people point out that I look way too young to be 19, that I look more like I'm 15.
13. When people have their turn signal on, but never turn or switch lanes.
14. When people abandon the use of their turn signal, period.
15. When everyone talks at once.
16. When people try to interfere with the way I'm raising my son.
17. When I don't ask for advice but people give it anyway.
18. Incorrect application of false eyelashes.
19. Eye liner that isn't even remotely applied close to the lash line.
20. Wig's without wig caps.
21. I spell my name out for someone. . Yet they still misspell it.
22. When I'm riding in a car with someone and we have to turn ahead and/or the lane we are ends soon but the person driving waits until last minute to get in the lane we need to be in.
23. When the person at the drive thru window asks me to repeat my order 14 times and they still end up getting it wrong.
24. When I ask for extra sauce 68 times and I get no sauce at all.
25. Close minded-ness.
26. Getting ignored.
27. If anyone makes any noises with their mouth what-so-ever when chewing gum or eating.
28. Unoriginality.
29. When a hairy animal. . or any animal jumps all over me or my son while either of us is wearing black.
30. Snoring. 
31. Getting woke up rudely. (Poked, prodded, yelled at, blankets ripped off me etc. . . )
32. When people completely alter the English language just because they're typing online. For example: YHU R SEW KEWT. OH EM GEE, I LOVES YHUR SHIRT. Girl, You look so gorg in this pic. DAT BEBE KITTEN WAS SO ADORBS. You get the idea. . . 
33. One word text messages.
34. People that use emoticons that don't even look like anything. O_o  :3  >.<  ^-^  D: :'+
35. Being rushed.
36. When people constantly post status updates that brag about how drunk or messed up they are/got last night.
37. When people ask me what my "Strength" tattoo on my wrist says, then when I tell them they respond "What's that mean. . ?"
38. When people constantly ask me to borrow clothes. 
39. Girls/Guys that don't just accept a compliment.
40. Girls/Guys that are constantly fishing for compliments.
41. When Christmas is rushed into the stores before Halloween is even over. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Christmas, but I also want to be able to enjoy other holidays without worrying what's coming next.
42. When I state I don't like a food and/or I don't want to try it, yet someone insists on me trying it 500 times.

Long time no. . .Blog?

   It's been a while since I last made a blog post. I don't really have any excuses why either. No, I haven't been super busy. . No, I didn't get abducted by aliens. I'm just really lazy. Ha ha ha. And honestly sometimes I'd rather sleep or play with Corbin then to blog. . Just sayin'. I actually have no idea what this blog is going to be about so prepare yourself for a blog thats all over the place and lacks structure (One of my biggest pet-peeves. Ha ha.)

   Lets talk about Halloween since it just passed. You know, actually there's not really a lot to say about Halloween. Corbin was dressed up as a sock monkey and I was a ballerina "doll". I even made my own tu-tu. That's right :) My family and I went trick-or-treating the night of Halloween. . I froze my tu tu wearin' behind off to say the least. We didn't get a ton of candy, but Corbin had a ton of fun so I guess thats all that matters.

Now that there are a million pictures in this blog post (Another pet-peeve, maybe I should do a blog talking about all my pet-peeves. Lord knows there are 56 billion of them. . .) Can we just talk about the fact that I will have a 1 year old in just 12 days. I mean, what in the heck?! Where has time even went? I swear just yesterday it looked as if I swallowed a beach ball whole. . Or that I was buying tickets to the midnight premier of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I in advanced only to find out my water would break 5:30 am the next day andddd I wouldn't be making it to see HP but I would be giving birth to my amazing son (50 minutes before the midnight premier might I add.) I love my son so much, to the moon and back doesn't even begin to describe the amount of love I have for that little boy. He has made such an impact on mine, and so many other lives already and only 11 and a half months old. He's the most amazing thing I've ever laid eyes on and I'm so happy I get to call him my son. I am one lucky mama :)
